2026 NATIONAL GIRLS AND WOMEN IN SPORTS DAY SOFTBALL CLINIC

The Astros Foundation and the Houston Astros Youth Academy will be hosting a Softball Clinic on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at the Astros Youth Academy (2800 West Little York Rd., 77091) in honor of National Girls and Women In Sports Day. The Softball Clinic is FREE and will be from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Special Guest will include Lauren Chamberlain former professional softball player and MLB Youth Sports Ambassador. Clinic is ONLY for girls ages 7-18 and will be limited to the first 100 participants to sign up. There will be no walk-up registrations. Only participants that are registered will be allowed to participate. Please wear athletic attire: softball pants and Astros Youth Academy T-shirt (if your child has one). Participants can bring glove, helmet, bat and softball cleats. Helmets and bats will also be provided. Participants do not need to bring catchers equipment. Check-in begins at 5:30 p.m. at Field 4 (See map below).

Water/Hydration: Please bring AT LEAST 2-3 bottles of water or water jug with plenty of water. Players will exert plenty of energy and the weather may be hot, so please bring extra water/hydration for the clinic.
There will be very limited seating in the stands for parents. If you wish to stay, please bring your own folding/portable chair.

Parking for the Softball Clinic will in the parking lot next to Field 4. Parking lot may fill up.
