ASTROS NIKE RBI FREE BASEBALL/SOFTBALL LEAGUE PRESENTED BY NIKE

Astros Nike RBI is a free competitive summer baseball and softball league for boys and girls ages 13-18 directed by the Astros Youth Academy. The league has four (4) divisions: Baseball Junior Division (Ages: 13-15), Baseball Senior Division (Ages: 16-18) and Softball Junior (Ages 13-15); Softball Senior Division (Ages: 16-18). League play will be from May 26 - August 1, 2026. All games are played on weeknights only at Sylvester Turner Park. Tryouts dates for baseball and softball divisions are: May 2, 9, 11-13, 16, 17.  Each team will play a 14-game regular season schedule (weather permitting).  Following the conclusion of the regular season, each division will participate in a championship week with a single elimination format and a champion in each division.

League History - Since 2014 the Astros Nike RBI League has been a premiere High School Summer League with professional scouts and college coaches actively scouting and recruiting players of the League.  The Astros Nike RBI League has had over 300 college commitments, 11 players drafted and 1 major league player.

THIS IS A REGISTRATION TO TRY-OUT FOR THE ASTROS NIKE RBI FREE BASEBALL/SOFTBALL LEAGUE. YOUTH AGES 13-18.

Players will only need to tryout on ONE of the specified tryout days. Players WILL NOT be allowed to tryout more than once. Players can attend ANY one of the listed tryout days. Additional information may need to be filled out on the day of the tryout. Baseball and Softball Players in each division will be notified of selection by e-mail on Friday, May 22, 2025 at 5:00 PM. Players that are selected will be placed onto teams. There will be 4-8 teams per division. Players play 2 games per week. All games are played weeknights Monday - Thursday at the Astros Youth Academy. Playing days by division: Junior/Senior Softball (Monday - Thursday); Junior Baseball Division (Tuesday/Thursday); Senior Baseball Division (Monday/Wednesday). Practice days and times are determined by individual coaches.  Jersey & Game Hat will be provided for those who are selected for the league.  Players should come dressed in baseball/softball attire.  Please bring all equipment to the tryout (baseball/softball pants, hat, cleats/turf, tennis shoes, glove, helmet, bat, catcher's equipment, etc..).  Helmets and bats will be provided for those who do not have a helmet or bat for the tryouts.
